Message	plastic cap, but I had no issue with it. Item was just as described and I think I paid ~ $5 for it then. I had to modify it for the TT shock actuators which took a while, but it was worth it! Looks much better than not having a cover there and it fit perfectly after the mod. If you want a free set, then you can get a sample off the cap plugs website.
